More proof of Satan being "the god of this world"/On what Bible translation to use: I strongly advise reading the King James Version of the Bible ONLY, preferably in conjunction with the original Greek & Hebrew (online interlinear at searchGodsword) texts as I do (a few of the translations of the New Testament above are my own from the original Greek, but they're mostly copied & pasted from the KJV), or King James principally while occasionally comparing it with the modern translations to get a broader view of what a certain word in the King James might mean (Genesis 50 teaches that what Satan intends for evil, such as the World Wide Web, can be used by God for good). I know Ancient Greek very well, being Greek myself, and I can thoroughly vouch for the following discoveries others have made which I have thoroughly checked up on:
-Some of the most disturbing additions/changes/omissions in the modern translations NIV, NASB, NKJV, NLT, etc. from the original Greek text & KJV: omissions of Jesus' title of "Lord" (ex. Matt. 13:51) & "THE Son of God" (ex. Dan. 3:25, Mark 1:1, Matt. 27:54); omissions of references to Jesus being worshipped (ex. Matt. 18:26); and many many more (another page documenting these changes), THOUSANDS of instances of words omitted including very important ones like "Lord" & "hell", other ways in which the new translations attack the deity of Jesus
---"God is NOT the author of confusion" (1 Cor. 14:33): the context of this passage is talking about not having everyone speak at once (14:27,31); this verse implies that Satan, who consistently produces things like Santa which will be "like the Most High", rather than God is the author of these many Bible translations
---"If any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:19 NASV committee member trembles because of his involvement with the translation "Do not ADD unto His World, lest He reprove thee, and thou be called a liar." (Proverbs 30:6) "Ye shall not ADD unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye DIMINISH ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deuteronomy 4:2) but thousands of words have been taken away by these modern translations! They can prevent you from gaining eternal life: "Man shall not LIVE on bread alone but on EVERY word coming forth from the mouth of the Father." (Matthew 4:4) Every part of the Bible is extremely useful for equipping you for good works and building up the faith that is necessary for good works (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
